The Make Technology Simple Foundation was founded in 2001 and aims to make knowledge and technical possibilities available to private individuals and institutions.
Who are we?
In 2001 SMTS started with communication, computer, audio, light and video technology and all combinations. By the year 2021, communication, audio and video technology have become more and more computer files. But to properly display and record these, knowledge is needed, SMTS has that knowledge. The emphasis is however on computer technology and integration with other techniques.
SMTS has a number of services. SMTS prices are low because SMTS is a non-profit organization; we ask you to contribute to our costs. A positive balance is reinvested in the foundation. To keep costs as low as possible, SMTS does not have a real office, but of course there is the possibility to reach SMTS by email or by telephone.
Volunteers
The SMTS volunteers support the cause of the foundation and usually have years of experience with audio, light, video or computer technology.
